Remove a PCIe riser
Prerequisites
Before you perform this procedure, make sure that you have a T-10 Torx screwdriver available.
Procedure
1. Back up all server data.
2. Power down the server.
3. Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server.
4. Remove the system board module from the chassis.
5. Place the system board module on a flat, level work surface.
6. Remove the system board module access panel.
7. Remove the midplane interposer, if removing the secondary or tertiary riser.
8. Remove the PCIe riser:
