Installing a GPU bridge
You can install GPU bridges for a double-width AMD MI100 GPU configuration. A GPU bridge is a high-bandwidth channel
for GPU-to-GPU communication. A bridge allows GPUs to communicate with each other without using precious bandwidth
on the PCIe slots. Using a bridge scales both memory and capacity of the GPU, enabling it to perform to its full capacity.
A bridge can connect 4 GPUs. If you have installed an 8 GPU configuration, you will need 2 bridge cards. One bridge card
will connect 4 GPUs while the second card will connect 4 more GPUs to connect a total of 8 GPUs.
