Supply control switch states

The EN62052-21 and EN62053-21 compliant supply control switch is
powered from the meter power supply. It can switch currents up to 100 A.
The control unit allows several states (not only ON/OFF state) and can set
the supply control switch to one of the following operations:

Customer premises connected

Customer premises connected but load limiting threshold exceeded

Customer premises disconnected due to load limiting threshold
condition (armed)

Customer premises enabled for manual reconnection (armed)

Customer premises disconnected
The current state of the control unit as well as the state of the premises is
indicated in the device status register. Additionally, there is a symbol dis-
played on the meter display (a square and a cross) to indicate whether the
premises are connected or not (see picture below).

Premises connected
Only the square is turned on.
Premises connected but load limiting threshold
exceeded
The square is flashing to indicate load limit threshold has
been exceeded but supply is still connected.

Premises Disconnected and Armed (due to Load
Limiting)
Square is flashing to indicate that the disconnection is due
to load limiting. X (with the square) indicates that supply is
flashing box)
armed ready for reconnection attempt.
Premises Disconnected and Armed (due to remote
reconnect command or sufficient prepayment credit
added)
The square and cross are both turned on indicating the
supply is armed and ready for reconnection (solid, NOT
flashing)
Premises Disconnected and Not Armed
Only the cross is turned on. Supply is disconnected and
NOT armed - either due to a remote disconnect command
or insufficient credit in prepayment mode
