Issue:1 4/10 Introduction This specification describes the procedure to install a Landis + Gyr E6V meter with G130 module fitted. Scope This guide applies to the G130 Smart Ready Gas meter, E6 residential gas meter. Purpose This manual contains information required to install and commission the G130 Smart meter. -

2. Confirm the installation is leak tight via the locally approved methodology. 3. Ensure that the air within the installation / new meter is safely purged. If the G130 Smart Ready gas meter is supplied with the valve closed the open valve procedure should be used to open the valve to enable the flow of gas. - Page 7 If the valve is closed the screen will display OFF and the option to open the valve will be shown (Press B for Gas). To open the valve the instructions in section 6 should be followed. G130 Valve Status displays Display cycle The full display cycle is shown in the diagram below.

Accessing the Service Menu The Service Menu is accessed from the index display by pressing button A to move to the valve status display and then holding button B for more than 5 seconds. The G130 meter then shows the Engineer Access screen:- Pressing button A will then show the Pin code Access Screen. -
