Machine Operation

PARK THE MACHINE

1. Move the machine to a solid, level surface.
2. Lower the bucket and dozer blade to the ground.
3. Move the throttle control lever to MIN (low idle). Run
the engine at idle for 5 minutes to cool it.
4. Move the hydraulic lockout control lever to the locked
(closed) position.
5. Turn the key switch to OFF and remove the key.
6. Close the windows and cab door.
7. Turn the battery disconnect switch to OFF.
8. Close and lock all doors.

Parking the Machine on a Grade

WARNING!
Avoid parking the machine on a grade when possible. The machine may become unstable and
roll over. Failure to follow this warning could result in death or serious injury
If it is necessary to park the machine on a grade:
1. Face the machine uphill.
2. Firmly set the bucket teeth and dozer blade into the
ground.
3. Move the hydraulic lockout control lever to the locked
(closed) position.
4. Turn the key switch to OFF and remove the key.
5. Turn the battery disconnect switch to OFF.
6. Close and lock all doors.
7. Securely chock the tracks.
