5. Reconnect any cables to the system board that you disconnected during
removal (see "System-board internal connectors" on page 27 and "Internal
cable routing and connectors" on page 186).
6. Install the fan cage assembly (see "Installing the fan cage assembly" on page
306).
7. Install the air baffle (see "Installing the air baffle" on page 211).
8. Install the power supplies (see "Installing a hot-swap power supply" on page
90).
9. Install and lock the left-side cover (see "Installing the left-side cover" on page
205).
10. Reconnect the external cables and power cords; then, turn on the attached
devices and turn on the server.
11. Start the Setup utility and reset the configuration.
a. Set the system date and time.
b. Set the power-on password.
c. Reconfigure the server.

12. Either update the server with the latest RAID firmware or restore the
pre-existing firmware from a diskette or CD image.
13. Update the UUID (see "Updating the Universal Unique Identifier (UUID)" on
page 123).
14. Update the DMI/SMBIOS (see "Updating the DMI/SMBIOS data" on page
125).
15. Reactivate any Features on Demand features.
What to do next
If you have replaced a component or installed an optional device in the server, you
need to reconnect the power cords and all external cables, and turn on the server
and peripheral devices.
