Note
Ensure that the emergency laser stop is not pressed. It can be released or its state
checked by rotating the red knob to the right. If it was pressed, it springs out.
▶ Switch on main switch on the back of the unit.
▶ Insert key into key-operated switch.
▶ By turning the key completely clockwise, switch on the KEY Laser 1243 US.
After a few seconds, the boot up screen appears on the touchscreen. The soft‐
ware version is displayed at the bottom right.
The unit then performs an internal function test. On successful completion, the start
menu appears on the touchscreen.
