8.1 Fault messages
The user guidance controlled by a microprocessor helps in the operation of the KEY
Laser 1243 by way of the touchscreen. In addition, however, numerous automatic
self tests which control the unit are installed in the unit.
Thus, lamp ageing and deadjustment are automatically compensated, for example,
via a microprocessor-controlled energy regulation system with self-adjustment.
If the microprocessor detects faults, these are localized and are displayed on the
touchscreen.
A distinction is made between warnings and faults.
Warnings are displayed on the touchscreen with ATTENTION and faults with
FAULT.
