The Lid's Cam Filler Slides (nylatron strips) on the sides of the lid prevent food debris
from entering the inside of the lid. Keeping them clean prolongs the life of the strips.
Missing, broken or worn strips must be replaced. Or the internal mechanics of the lid
becomes clogged with oil and food debris.
A A T T T T E E N N T T I I O O N N : Ensure food grade foaming degreaser is sprayed in front and behind
the cams, on both sides of the filler strip.

1 1 . . Spray food

2 2 . . Raise the lid up and down several
times to spread the degreaser.
3 3 . . Wipe the Nylatron filler strips to
remove food soil, grease, and
degreaser residue.
1. Lift and push the lid locking arm (cams)
back in to the open position.
2. Spray food grade foaming degreaser on lid
cam filler strip.

3. Pull the lid locking arm (cams) forward in to
the lock position.
4. Spray food grade foaming degreaser on lid
cam filler strip.

5. Lock and unlock the lid using the locking
handle, several times to spread the
degreaser.
6. Wipe the lid's cam filler slides (nylatron
strips) on the sides of the lid to remove
food soil, grease, and degreaser residue.
