transmitted in a data link is 32,000 words max.
3. CX-Net in CX-Programmer can be used in systems with up to 32 nodes
(node addresses 1 to 32). Use Controller Link Support Software (Ver. 2.00
or later) or CX-Net in CX-Programmer (Ver. 3 or later) for systems with up
to 62 nodes (node addresses 1 to 62). Refer to Appendix A Standard Mod-
els for information on CX-Net.
4. CS-series, CVM1, and CV-series PLCs do not have an LR Area, and words
LR000 to LR199 are automatically converted to CIO 1000 to 1199 for use.
5. Duplex operation of Communications Units is possible only for the CS1W-
CLK12-V1 or CS1W-CLK52-V1 mounted to a CS1D PLC in token-ring
mode.

Note 1. When connecting an Optical Ring Controller Link Unit (CS1W-CLK12/12-
V1 or CVM1-CLK12/12-V1) to an Optical Bus Controller Link Unit/Board
(model number ending with CLK11), the Optical Ring Controller Link Unit
must be set to token-bus mode and the transmission path must be con-
nected by the daisy-chain method.
2. The CS1W-CLK12-V1 and CS1W-CLK52-V1 can only be used in duplex
operation if they are mounted to a CS1D System. For details, refer to CS-
series Duplex System Operation Manual (W405).
