Note The disconnected node information is valid only when bit 15 (the Network
Disconnection Flag) is ON. If bit 15 is OFF, the earlier disconnected node
information is retained.

3. Error codes 021E through 0223 are recorded for Optical Ring Controller
Link Units/Boards only.
4. Error Status:
The status of each bit indicates that an error has occurred as given in the
diagram below.
1: Token timeout error
1: Polling timeout error
1: Communications controller hardware error
1: Polling node was changed
1: Nodes in Network changed (added or removed)
1: Communications controller send error
1: Node address duplication error
5. Ring Status:
The network disconnection information is indicated as shown in the dia-
gram below.

0: SL1 (uplink) or normal status
1: SL2 (downlink)

0: Normal
1: Disconnection detected

Error logs can be read or cleared using the Controller Link Support Software,
the CX-Programmer, PLC Programming Devices, or the message service.
The following examples are for the Controller Link Support Software and the
message service. When using a PLC Programming Device, refer to the Pro-
gramming Device's operation manual for details.
Read or clear the error log using the following procedure.
1. Display the Main Menu.
2. Select "E: Error log."
3. Designated the node. The error log for the designated node will be dis-
played.
