Duplex Communications Unit Operating Flags
Bits A02700 through A02715 are turned ON when the corresponding Communications Unit (Units #0 through
#15, respectively) is operating normally in duplex operation.
Duplex Communications Switch Cause Flags
When an error occurs in the active Communications Unit with the corresponding unit number (see note) and
operation is switched to the standby Communications Unit, an error code will be stored to show the cause of
the error in the active Communications Unit. The corresponding bit in A436 (Duplex Communications Switched
Flags) will also turn ON.

Network Status Flags
Bits A20200 through A20207 are turned ON to indicate that ports #0 through #7, respectively, are enabled for
the SEND(90), RECV(98), CMND(490) and PMCR. Bits A219200 through A219207 are turned ON to indicate
that an error has occurred in ports #0 through #7, respectively, during data communications using SEND(90),
RECV(98), CMND(490), or PMCR. Refer to page 122
A203 through A210 contain the completion codes for ports #0 through #7, respectively, following data commu-
nications using SEND(90), RECV(98), CMND(490), or PMCR. Refer to page 122.
Online Replacement Flag
Bit A26110 turns ON when a Basic I/O Unit, Special I/O Unit, or CPU Bus Unit is being replaced online on the
CPU Rack, an Expansion Rack, or a Long-distance Expansion Rack. If an attempt is made to generate the I/O
tables while this flag is ON, an I/O table generation error will occur and the I/O tables will not be created. The
bit turns OFF when the status is normal.
Duplex Communications Unit Missing or Non-Duplex Communications Unit Mounted Flag
Bit A26111 turns ON when Duplex Units are not mounted for a unit number specified for Duplex Communica-
tions Units (i.e., a Unit is missing or the mounted Units do not support duplex operation). If an attempt is made
to generate the I/O tables while this flag is ON, an I/O table generation error will occur and the I/O tables will
not be created. The bit turns OFF when the status is normal. The corresponding bit in A434 will also turn ON.
Duplex Communications Unit Verification Error Flag
Bit A26112 turns ON when the unit number or node address of 2 Units specified as a pair of Duplex Communi-
cations Units in the PLC Setup does not agree. If an attempt is made to generate the I/O tables while this flag
is ON, an I/O table generation error will occur and the I/O tables will not be created. The bit turns OFF when the
status is normal. The corresponding bit in A435 will also turn ON.
CPU Bus Unit Initializing Flags
Bits A30200 through A30215 turn ON while the corresponding CPU Bus Units (Units #0 through #15, respec-
tively) are initializing.
Duplex Communications Error Flags
Bit A31603 turns ON when there is an error in a Duplex Communications Unit (either active or standby). This
flag can be used to check whether or not there are errors in any Duplex Communications Units. This flag will
turn ON if any of the flags below turn ON.
A43600 to A43615:Duplex Communications Switched Flags
A43700 to A43715:Duplex Communications Standby Unit Error Flags
CPU Bus Unit Setting Error Flag and Unit Number
Bit A40203 is turned ON when the CPU Bus Units actually installed differ from the Units registered in the I/O
table. The unit number of the CPU Bus Unit involved is written to word A427.
Bits A42700 through A42715 correspond to CPU Bus Units #0 through #15, respectively. When a error occurs,
the bit corresponding to the unit number of the CPU Bus Unit involved is turned ON.
