D. Turning the Power of the Power Box On/Off
D.1 Using On/Off for the Power of the Power Box
NOTE:
This operation is only available with the sensor unit which has a direct
Ethernet connection to a PC.
Be sure to refer to the user's manuals for both the sensor unit and the power
box.
The procedure below is an example of operations when using the category type exposure screen.
The power of the power box (or remote switch) can be turned on/off while the system is
running.
With a mobile system, power consumption can be reduced by turning the power off while the
system is being moved.
NOTE:
Do not turn off the power of the power box while transferring image data.
Image data that has been taken will be lost.
NOTE:
Always turn the power of the power box on/off from on the exposure screen.
Turning the power of the power box on/off while on another screen may result
in malfunction or loss of data.
NOTE:
If a dialog box is being displayed on the exposure screen, close the dialog
box first and then perform on/off.
NOTE:
If the power box is turned off during READY status, READY status will be
canceled, and the selected exposure mode and parameters set on the
parameter changing screen will become disabled.
To continue taking exposures, select the exposure mode and make settings
again (→ page 15) after the power is turned on.
