device.

CXDI has aborted DICOM transmission because of a FAILURE in DICOM
printer status. Check receiving device.
External Storage Error

Selected directory or disk for storage can only be read.
External Storage Error
Selected directory or disk for storage does not exist. Or image cannot be saved

on external storage, because the external storage or directory is not properly
set.
External Storage Error
-512
Cannot recognize the external storage. Set the disk properly and retry.
External Storage Error
The exposed images cannot be stored because the size of folder partition is

smaller than the exposed images. Use a new disk, erase the folder contents or
enlarge the folder size and retry.

been specified. Check the execution path of commitment.

Remedy
• Touch [RETRY].
• Touch [CANCEL] to close the window, and
then see Setup Guide and set the
parameters.
• Check that the printer or storage medium is
normal. Then touch [RETRY].
• Touch [CANCEL] to close the window and
then check the settings.
• After eliminating the printer error, touch
[RETRY].
• Touch [CANCEL] to cancel output.
• Replace the disk with a writable disk and
touch [RETRY].
• Touch [CANCEL] to cancel save.
• Contact the system administrator.
Touch [OK] to close the window, and then see
1.2 Shutting Down the CXDI (→ page 5),
and turn off the CXDI.
When these errors occur, note the error code
and contact a Canon representative or
distributor.
Touch [RETRY] after the green mark
disappears from the message area of the
exposure screen.
• Touch [RETRY] to store the image on the
internal storage again.
• To cancel saving, touch [CANCEL].
• Replace the disk with a writable disk and
touch [RETRY].
• Touch [CANCEL] to cancel save.
• Contact the system administrator.
• Touch [RETRY] to store the image on the
internal storage again.
• To cancel save, touch [CANCEL].
Touch [OK] to close the window.
