7. Processing the Image (QA Mode Screen)
Suppose the analyzed value is 0.30. If the setting is +1, the DEP will be 0.25. If the
setting is -1, it will be 0.35.
If the analyzed value is 1.00, it is the same as if the DEP had not been performed.
The effect is limited to the 0 to 1 range.
Efficacy of high density
When the efficacy of high density is
increased, the range of pixels will
narrow after the image is processed at a
higher level than the compression
starting level.

Set the starting level for high density.

to select a setting from +10 to -10.
The value on the left is the value analyzed automatically (DEP analysis value). The value
on the right is the efficacy that will be added to the analyzed value on the left side (table
below).
The larger the number, the narrower the effective area.
