Notes on Exposure and Output
When Using a Magnetic Card Reader (optional unit)
1. Advance setting by a service engineer is required to use the magnetic card reader.
2. Be sure to insert the magnetic card facing the correct direction, otherwise the magnetic card reader may be
unable to read the data on the card.
Also, do not allow cards to become dirty, damaged or deformed, as this may result in reading errors.
3. If patient data is entered without selecting [END STUDY] when an image is present, that image will be
automatically output.
When Acquiring Patient Data by HIS/RIS or from a Database File, etc.
Advance setting by a service engineer is required.
During Exposure
1. Before an exposure, check if the patient name and ID match with ones on the exposure screen.
2. The LANMIT sensor in the sensor unit will be gradually depleted if the camera is left in the READY condition.
Therefore, touch [CANCEL] or [END STUDY] to cancel the exposure.
3. Never press the exposure button on the x-ray generator while you are performing operations from the
operation unit.
This may result in freezing the system, and data may be lost.
4. Never press the exposure button on the x-ray generator when "READY" is not indicated in the message
area.
5. After x-ray exposure, do not perform any operation from the operation unit or enter patient data from an
external device until the exposure screen, preview image screen, magnified image screen, or QA mode
screen is displayed. Doing so may result in freezing the system, and data may be lost.
Note When Selecting [CANCEL]
After selecting [CANCEL], do not operate the operation unit until the message "Enter Patient Data" is
displayed in the message area.
Initiating operation before this message appears may result in an operation error.
When Outputting an Image
If you wish to use an external storage medium, settings must be changed by the service engineer.
