8.4 10E&M

8.4.1 Functions and appearance

The 10E&M is a 10-way audio access card. It provides the following
functions:
 Provide 10 RJ45 E&M interfaces. Each interface supports 1 way of 64
kbit/s E&M service. Interfaces 1–10 are corresponding to timeslots
from TS0 to TS9 on the card.
 Support configuring the signaling type to I, II, III, IV, or V through
the jumper. By default, it is V.
 Support configuring the wiring mode to 2-wire or 4-wire. By default,
it is 4-wire.

Support configuring the signaling mode through software:
–
Support original signaling and reverse signaling. By default, it is
original signaling.

Support signaling occupation a-bit and b-bit. By default, it is a-bit.

Support configurable gain:
–
Rx D/A gain ranges from -3 to +27 dB.

Tx D/A gain ranges from -13 to +7 dB.
–
By default, the gain is 0 dB.
– The step is 0.1 dB.
 Support configuring analog audio to conduct internal loopback and
external loopback (supported in 4-wire mode only); support E&M
signaling to conduct internal loopback.
 Support viewing signaling status.
