DIMAX3 DIGITAL SYSTEM
ADJUSTMENT
NOTE
This chapter contains the information required to set up and calibrate the Planmeca Pro-
line CC Panoramic x-ray with Dimax3 sensor head. In case your unit is a film-based pano-
ramic x-ray, perform the adjustments according to the instructions given in chapter
"ADJUSTMENT & CALIBRATION" on page D-1.
Protect yourself from radiation when you are checking the beam alignment. Since radiation
safety requirements vary from state to state and country to country it is the responsibility of the
installer to ensure that the correct precautions are observed.
The display values shown in this guide are only examples and should not be interpreted as rec-
ommended values unless otherwise stated.
WARNING
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT THE ROOM IN WHICH THE X-RAY IS INSTALLED AND THE
POSITION FROM WHICH THE USER OPERATES THE EQUIPMENT ARE CORRECTLY
SHIELDED. SINCE RADIATION SAFETY REQUIREMENTS VARY FROM COUNTRY TO
COUNTRY AND STATE TO STATE IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE INSTALLER TO
ENSURE THAT ALL LOCAL SAFETY REGULATIONS ARE MET.
