EXPOSURE WARNING SIGNAL ADJUSTMENT
Technical Manual
CTL
When an x-ray exposure is taken you will hear a warning tone indicating that radiation is being
generated.
If the warning sound of the radiation cannot be heard or is considered to be too loud, the tone
(and loudness) can be adjusted. Pressing CTL and then the P-key activates this adjustment
mode turning the sound on continuously. In this mode the keys READY, UP and DOWN only are
operative. Operating the other keys does nothing. The functions of these keys are:
UP
Adjust the tone higher
DOWN
Adjust the tone lower
READY
Exit this mode and program the new tone into the memory
