Low voltage power supply fuse F2
Low voltage power supply fuse F3
Low voltage power supply fuse F4
Keyboard processor board fuse F1

- Connect the wires back one by one and try if the fuse still disconnects. If it
disconnects, follow the last connected wire and disconnect its other end
from the processor board and try if the fuse still blows. If it still disconnects
the wiring is defective
- Disconnect all other connectors from the processor board, connect the
power connector and try if the fuse still disconnects. If it disconnects, the
processor board motor control circuitry is defective.
- Connect the processor board connectors back one by one and try if the
fuse disconnects. If it disconnects, follow the last connected wire and find
the short circuiting part.
Location:
On the circuit board above connector P4.
Description: Multifuse MF-R300.
Function:
To protect the sagittal line positioning light.
Reasons for multifuse to disconnect the circuit:
- Lamp or wiring short circuit
- Bad multifuse
Indication:
Sagittal lamp does not light up when operated.
Analysis:
If lamp is OK the wiring is defective if the fuse still disconnects.
Location:
On the circuit board near connector P1.
Description: Multifuse MF-R300.
Function:
To protect the Frankfort line positioning light.
Reasons for multifuse to disconnect the circuit:
- Lamp or wiring short circuit
- Bad multifuse
Indication:
Frankfort line lamp does not light up when operated.
Analysis:
If lamp is OK the wiring is defective if the fuse still disconnects.
Location:
On the circuit board below connector P4 near the circuit board corner.
Description: Multifuse MF-R300.
Function:
To protect the layer positioning light.
Reasons for multifuse to disconnect the circuit:
- Lamp or wiring short circuit
Indication:
Layer lamp does not light up when operated.
Analysis:
If lamp is OK the wiring is defective if the fuse still disconnects.
Location:
On the circuit board.
Description: 5 x 20 mm glass tube fuse. Rated 1 A SLOW BLOW.
Function:
To protect the on board switching regulator circuitry
Reasons for blow:
- Continuous overload on board or at parts connected to it.
- Motor controller circuitry defective on either processor board.
- Bad fuse or wrong rating
