MECHANICAL CHECKS

When using various focal trough forms or when in cephalostatic mode the exposure time varies.
The selected time can be seen from the x-ray equipment exposure time display and the meas-
ured time must correspond to that within ± 10%. If not, the generator processor must be replaced
and most likely also the keyboard processor. That is because the processor clocks are synchro-
nized to each other and variation in exposure times can only be due to the processor clock fre-
quency alteration that must appear in both processors within 1%. If the time differs from the
selected one because of some other reason, an error indication will always be present.
