Connecting the power supply

Take the following aspects into consideration when installing
a CPX system with the CTEL master module:
– Power supply (see section 2.5.1)
– Current consumption (see section 2.5.2)
– Formation of power zones (see section 2.5.3)
Note
It is imperative that you observe the instructions in sec-
tion 2.5.3 when forming power zones in the CPX terminal
by means of several manifold blocks with power supply.
Recommendation:
Provide the load voltage for the corresponding actuators

separately if you want to implement an EMERGENCY-OFF
function.
Note
Check whether pressure switch-off is also necessary for an
EMERGENCY STOP function on your machine/system.
Note
Observe the instructions on earthing the I-port devices in
the description for the relevant module.
