Connection with Loop Display Units (LD512H)

The LD512H Loop Display Unit (hereafter described the LDU) can be connected to the LC51*
to display data and set necessary settings for each loop. The front panel of the LC51*E and
that of the LDU are the same in structure and operation. Therefore, both are described as the
display panel.
Up to 7 units of LDU can be connected to the LC51*.
To use the display panel, it is necessary to register LP parameter (LP_PARA.LDU) using the
Engineering Tool 2.
For how to register system components using the Engineering Tool 2, see Chapter 4,
"Registration Using Engineering Tool 2."
Display loop change
When power is turned on, the LC51* shows the loop 1 and the LDU shows the loop preset by
the rotary switch on the rear of the LDU. After that, the display loop can be changed by key
operation on the front panel or by user application program.
