Note 1: Wiring of external power supply (24V) for digital I/O
Connect the power supply to the terminal B7 or B8, and the terminal B9 or B10.
Connector the power supply to either connector CN1 or CN2. However, all of the
power supply common terminals must be connected because the consumption current
of load flows to the power supply common through the unit.
Note 2: Using the separate power supplies for modules and for digital I/O, the internal circuits of
modules and the digital input section can be isolated.
Note 3: Connect the common of external contacts to the common ( − ) of external power supply.
Note 4: The terminals B7 and B8 of the connector CN1 and the terminals B7 and B8 of the
connector CN2 are connected internally.
Note 5: The terminals B9 and B10 of the connector CN1 and the terminals B9 and B10 of the
connector CN2 are connected internally.
