The procedure for memory clear, download, and startup is described below.

Remark

For memory clear, set the engineering switch (Eng.SW) 1 on the side of the
LC53* to ON, and turn on the power of the LC53*.
When memory clear is executed, the numerical display area of the loop
display shows "dL" indicating download wait.
Next, return the engineering switch (Eng.SW) 1 on the side of the LC53* to
OFF.
Use the nv Engineering Tool to download the application.
Request RUN execution by "System view" operation of the nv Engineering
Tool. RUN execution can also be done by requesting RUN execution by side
keyboard operation of the LC53* or turning on the power again.
