described.
I.1
Functional Specifications
Item
Auto tuning function
Provided (Auto tuning of control
parameters)
Security code
Provided (Setting change is limited
by code authentication)
Password
Provided (Readout of intelligent
space is limited)
Auto / Confirm alarm
Provided (specified at the time of
restoration
system build-up)
Alarm checking method Press FAST/SEL key. Alarm contents
are displayed on the Side panel.
MV manual operation
212D: Possible (manual operation is
when CPU error occurs

215D: Not possible
Data type
Flag: BIT data (ON/OFF), Data:
32-bit floating point number
Simulation
Simulation ON/OFF is specified by
TOSDIC 246, TOSDIC 243 or from
the keyboard on the side panel.
Simulation space is executed only
when simulation is ON. Using
function modules programmed on
the simulation space, feed-back from
MV to PVC is executed.
Display loop switching
Either one of 2 loops can be elected
by SEL key to use it as normal
display loop by means of display

user program and tag parameters and they can be
displayed and set by V tool.)
The same as left except for system alarm
System alarm will be restored automatically.
Press FAST/SEL key.
Check the alarm with keyboard on the side panel.
Not possible (equivalent to 215D)
BOOL: BIT data (ON/OFF)
INT: 16-bit signed integer
UINT: 16-bit unsigned integer
DINT: 32-bit signed integer
TIME: 32-bit time data
WORD: 16 bits data (hexadecimal number)
DWORD: 32 bits data (hexadecimal number)
REAL: 32-bit floating point number
Simulation flag (PV_PARA.SIM) ON/OFF is
specified by V tool or from the keyboard on the
side panel.
If simulation method (PV_PARA.SIMM) is
provided as standard, MV is automatically fed
back to PV without creating any program. (If
SIMM is set to user, simulation can be intervened
by application program.)
Any one of 8 loops can be selected by SEL key to
use it as display loop from application program
