Note: Plastic insulation film is applied to the DMD backer plate. Film must be facing the DMD board.
21.4 CLGA & DMD
1. Carefully remove the CLGA interface including the DMD.
2. Avoid getting fingerprints on the DMD front glass and surface or rear connection points.

Note: Always mount CLGA with DMD back onto heatsink assy with correct orientation, as shown in illustration above. The text
on the back of DMD should be readable.

21.5 Re-assembly after PCB DMD or DMD/CLGA repair

1. lean the surface of the Peltier element and heatsink Stud. Use plastic card or similar to remove old phase change material, clean
with Brake and clutch cleaner (Isopropanol may be used but is not equally effective).
2. Add the phase change material onto the Peltier element and stud before assembling the heatsink assemblies together.
