Replacing the Laser driver
The individual laser drivers are mounted "back to back" inside the metal cage. The cage can be split opened
from either side for access to the laser drivers inside.
- With cage open, laser drivers can be removed by releasing 10 screws TX10.

The complete Assembly must first be separated completely from core engine before split down
further, accessing DMD, DMD board, and CLGA and DMD heatsink elements.
1.
Remove the liquid cooling pump as described above in section d. 3&4.
2.
Remove 4 spacers (4mm hex) in a diagonal order, remove the complete DMD assembly.
3.
With complete assy removed, clean the heatsink surface with Brake & Clutch cleaner. A plastic card may be
used first to remove old heat paste first.

4.
Split the complete heatsink assembly by removing 4+4 screws (TX10 M3x8) using an X-sequence.
