Index adjustment procedure
The projector is shipped with a BRIGHTNESS colorwheel installed. A COLOR optimized colorwheel is included with each projector
shipment to provide users with optimal choice and usability. The system features a color wheel (CW) cassette, which also automat-
ically prompts the system to select the correct configuration template (specifically CW algorithms).
LFM warning messages: The system will prompt the user to contact service when there is 10% remaining on the CW LFM timer.
COLOR delivers the best possible color accuracy and depth, as well as a reducing the appearance of movement artefacts caused
by the inherent sequential colors of DLP systems. This color wheel has a Red-Green-Red-Green segmentation, which contributes
positively against movement artefacts by loading the primary color sequence twice per rotation of the color wheel.
BRIGHTNESS uses a similar segmentation to COLOR but with an emphasis on a brighter color spectrum without compromising
color saturation. This configuration may be used where color accuracy may be traded off for higher brightness.
The hub on each motor has a black index mark applied so that the system can detect each rotation. The timing of each rotation may
be adjusted in the system service menu (CW index), by pulling a slider back and forth.
Different color wheels require different algorithms to synchronize the timing caused by the physical size of the DMD against the
physical size of each segment on the color wheel.
The correct algorithm is automatically selected by the system based on the ID of the color wheel in use.
Different CW segmentation may be developed moving forward.

As a reference color picture, use an external source, for instance a PC and a program, for instance paint, that will give a clear red
picture (255,0,0). Set to full screen. Disable the OSD during this process, and use only the LCD panel on the projector in order to
have a clean, red picture on the screen.
