ADJUSTMENTS AND SETTING-UP
It is recommended to use the central spring (in the
unwinding unit for reels of 500) or the two central
springs (in the unwinding unit for reels of 750), if the
Þlm stretching results insufÞcient.
Independently of the adopted pre-stretching ratio, in
order to obtain a correct Þlm overlapping (for its selection
see paragraph 5.4.), it is necessary to always check if the
Þlm width (X) on the bale is the same as indicated in Þg. 8.
Reel L = 500 mm ............................... min = 400 mm
Reel L = 750 mm ............................. X min = 600 mm
5.8. ADJUSTMENT OF THE UNWINDING
UNIT ROLLERS
Check parallelism between pin (C) supporting the Þlm
reel, the braking roller (R1) and unwinding roller (R2)
(fig. 9) whenever necessary.
Braking roller (R1) must be against the plastic Þlm reel
for all its length.
The distance between the unwinding roller (R2) and the
reel must be approx. 65 mm with wrapping in progress.
During the bale wrapping, it must be avoided that the
roller (R2) comes in contact with the reel following the
a.m. indications (fig. 9).
The contact of the roller R2 with the reel can cause not
only an early wear of the roller rubber surface, but also
a film breaking or an insufficient stretching if the brak-
ing roller R1 looses contact with the plastic film reel.

Nous conseillons d'utiliser le ressort central (dans le groupe
dŽrouleur pour bobine de 500) ou bien les deux ressorts
centraux (dans le groupe dŽrouleur pour bobine de 750) au
cas o• l'Žtirement du Þlm serait insufÞsant.
IndŽpendamment du rapport de prŽ-Žtirage adoptŽ, aÞn
d'obtenir une bonne superposition du Þlm (pour la sŽlection
voir section 5.4.), il faut vŽriÞer toujours si la largeur (X) du
Þlm sur la balle est celle indiquŽe dans la Þg. 8.

5.8. REGLAGE ROULEAUX DU GROUPE
DEROULEUR
Si nŽcessaire, vŽriÞer la position parall•le entre lÕaxe (C)
de support de la bobine du Þlm, le rouleau de freinage
(R1) et le rouleau dŽrouleur (R2) (fig. 9).
Le rouleau de freinage (R1) doit •tre ˆ contact pour
toute sa longueur avec la bobine du Þlm plastique.
La distance entre le rouleau dŽrouleur (R2) et la bobine
doit •tre d'environ 65 mm quand l'enrubannage est en
cours. Pendant l'enrubannage de la balle, emp•cher le
rouleau (R2) de toucher la bobine en suivant les
instructions ci-dessus (fig. 9).
Le contact éventuel entre le rouleau R2 et la bobine
peut provoquer non seulement l'usure précoce du
revêtement en caoutchouc du rouleau, mais aussi la
rupture du film ou un étirement insuffisant au cas où il
n'y aurait plus de contact entre le rouleau de freinage
R1 et la bobine de film plastique.
