Replacing the O
Caution
!
The replacement frequency for the O
given as an indication only and varies depending on the duration of ventilation, the oxygen
concentration used and the ambient temperature.
The O
cell is located at the rear of the ventilator.

To replace it:
1. Remove the protective cap from the O

2. Pull out the connector so that it does not obstruct the O
(see reference on page 149) to unscrew the O
with a new one.

Note: After opening the bag, wait 15 minutes before changing the O
Check the expiry date (month and year) on the label of the O
before the date on the label.
3. Screw the O
back on.
4. Perform a manual test to ensure the cell is functioning correctly (see "Manual test" on
page 65).
