Error Message: Feeder Cover Missing
There is a problem with the Large Capacity Input Feeder Cover.
Logic control on the MCU PWB detected that LCIF Cover Interlock Switch circuit is open.
Step
SUSPECT COMPONENTS
The following components are associated with this specific
problem. One or more of these components may have failed
partially or completely. If you cannot isolate the problem using
this FIP , replace each component listed below, one at a time,
until the problem disappears.
• Wiring and connectors linking the components

LCIF FEEDER COVER RESEAT
1. Open the Feeder Cover.
2. Firmly close the Feeder Cover.
Does the error message still appear?

LCIF FEEDER COVER SWITCH INSPECTION
1. Open the Feeder Cover.
2. Inspect the Feeder Cover Switch actuators that are located
near the top-rear and top-front of the Cover.
Are the actuators intact and free of damage?

LCIF FEEDER COVER SWITCH TEST
1. Enter Diagnostics and run the LCIF Cover Interlock Switch
input test.
2. Close the Feeder Cover.
3. Observe the last number in the Diagnostic Status Window.
4. Open the Feeder Cover.
Does the last number in the Diagnostic Status Window
change from 00 to 01, when you open the LCIF Feede
Cover?

Replace both Feeder Cover Switches (LCIF DRP 6.14)
Does the error message still appear?

Replace the Feeder PWB (LCIF DRP 6.10)
Does the error message still appear?
