Commissioning
During initial commissioning, the transmitter and receiver on the PSENvip must be exactly
aligned with each other and with the tool. These processes are described under "Initial
commissioning". Once initial commissioning is complete, the PSENvip is ready for opera-
tion.
The behaviour of the PSENvip when power is switched on is described under Operation.
7.1
Web interface
The web interface connects the CNC (or PC) to the special module PSSu K F FAU via an
Ethernet interface.
Prerequisites:
A web browser is installed on the CNC or PC.

When changing the tool, follow the instructions provided under Initial com-
missioning:
– Position tool
– Make adjustment during tool change
INFORMATION
The tool change and adjustment functions are only possible if the IP ad-
dress of the CNC or PC is stated in the configuration of the PSSu K F FAU
(see online help for PAS4000).
