5.2.1 Display during normal copying

Copier status
Warming up
• When the power switch is turned
ON, this message is displayed
until the copier is ready to make
copies.
Ready for copying
• This message is displayed when
the copier is ready to make cop-
ies and the copier waits for the
operator to specify the copying
conditions.
• If no key is pressed within 45
seconds the copier returns to its
initial state.
Copying is in progress
• This message is displayed when
the PRINT key is pressed.
• The copying operation ends
when the copy quantity display
reaches 1.
Preheating
Copier is waiting in the ADU du-
plex mode (see Fig.2.1 A )
Timer OFF
• No message is displayed in the dis-
play panel except for the timer LED.

Notes
• When the power switch is turned
on, the copy quantity is set to 0 and
the copy reproduction ratio to 100%
• The copy quantity display shows 1.
When the digital keys are pressed,
the display changes to show the set
number.
• Pressing the CLEAR/STOP key re-
sets the copy quantity to 1.
• Manual copying is possible.
• After the copying operation has
ended, the copy quantity indicator
returns to the quantity that was set.
• Press the ENERGY SAVER key or
PRINT key to clear.
This message is displayed when
using ADF single-sided copying or
when not using the ADF.
Released by pressing the PRINT
key.
