• Feed per pulse = 0.24mm/pulse
Note 1 If the aligning sensor turns ON when the original is transported for a fixed number of pulses after
transporting to the exposure position after the original has been joined, the 2nd original is re-
garded as a 2in1 impossible size. At the same time that feed of the 2nd original is resumed,
counting of the pulses is continued, and the jam is regarded as an aligning sensor retention jam
when the above jam pulses are counted.
The above timer values are the times obtained by subtracting the scan time from the time from
start of original feed after joining up to end of resumed of the 2nd original.
Note 2 Pulses from start of dual-side inversion to end of inversion are managed. If the exit sensor (exit
inversion sensor) turns ON when the pulses is incremented, this is regarded as a exit sensor
(exit inversion sensor) retention jam.
18.7.3
Type of errors
(1) Poor aligning sensor adjustment.
(2) Poor exit sensor adjustment.
(3) Poor EEPROM initialization.
