Overview

This chapter describes the Manual Data Input (MDI) operating mode and how to
execute machining steps in single blocks in this mode.
Short description
MDI mode allows you to execute one machining block at a time. The values to
be entered can be applied directly in the input field from a properly dimensioned
production drawing.
The functions provided by MDI mode enable efficient single-part production. For
small-batch production, you can program the machining steps in Programming
mode and then execute them in Program run mode.
