13.1 Overview
Configuration
The web server is configured either through the web server itself (see Chapter "System settings
(Page 756)") or using the Startdrive commissioning tool. The web server is active by default
in the factory setting of the converter.

tool is provided in the SINAMICS S120 Commissioning Manual with Startdrive.
Data transfer
In addition to unsecured transmission using the HTTP protocol, the web server also supports
secure transmission using the HTTPS protocol. By inputting the appropriate address, you can
decide yourself whether unsecured or secure transmission is used to access the data.
