4.1 Troubleshooting Power Supply and Distribution
Equipment
Except mains outage, power supply and distribution faults are caused by the damage of one or
multiple components. Rectify the faults based on fault location and fault type.

Symptom
The rear-end device power
input is abnormal.
Issue 02 (2016-11-15)
describes how to troubleshoot the power supply and distribution system.
When a UPS is faulty, alarm information is displayed on the LCD. Critical alarms must be
handled before powering on the UPS again. Otherwise, the fault may be extended, or the
UPS may be damaged.
If the fault is not rectified, contact Huawei technical support.

 The switch trips
abnormally.
 The UPS is faulty.

Measure
 Use a multimeter to
check whether there is a
short circuit. Turn on the
switch again, and check
whether the system is
overloaded.
 Restart the UPS. If the
UPS is faulty, replace it
in time.
