The line must be configured for automatic line calibration so that the system can
perform the process if necessary. You will find information on configuring the line
calibration in document 'A6V10210424'.
The station does not block the execution of a line calibration if some devices are
active on the line to be calibrated at this time. The station only blocks line
calibration if the station is in alarm condition.
The system automatically calibrates a line in the following cases after restarting
the fire control panel for the line card or the line:
The line topology has changed.
The configuration of the brightness level and/or the sound level of the sounders
has changed.
After each line calibration, the system saves a signature of all parameters and their
values that affect the power consumption of the line. After every restart, the
signature for the line is recalculated and compared against the signature for the
last calibration. If this comparison reveals that the signatures are different, the line
is automatically recalibrated.
In the following case, you need to manually calibrate all lines of a periphery board
or a line card, even if automatic calibration is activated:
A periphery board with an integrated line card has been changed.
A line card has been changed.
If the 'Automatic without manual recalibration' calibration mode is configured for a
line, then it must first be changed to the 'Automatic with manual recalibration' or
'Manual' calibration mode in the configuration. Otherwise, it will not be possible to
manually calibrate the line.
