When commissioning a standalone FN2012-A1, you must pre-configure the IP
address using the rotary switch. After that, you can assign an IP address to the
FN2012-A1 that cannot be pre-configured with the rotary switch.
Configuring the IP address manually
w The rotary switch has been used to pre-configure an IP address for the
FN2012-A1. Link [➙ 90]
w The web interface has been commissioned and the initial password changed.

1. Open the web interface of the FN2012-A1.
2. Select the 'Configuration' tab.
3. Enter the new IP address in the 'IP address' field.
4. Enter the sub-net mask in the 'Subnet mask' field.
5. Enter the standard gateway in the 'Default gateway' field.
6. Confirm your entries with 'Save changes'.
7. Set the rotary switch for device configuration to the '0' position.
8. Reset the FN2012-A1 using the RESET button on the device.
If the FN2012-A1 is integrated and the rotary switch is already set to
position '0', you can reset the FN2012-A1 with the 'Reset device' button on
the 'Product' tab.

NOTICE
Setting the rotary switch to the '0' position
The change to the IP address only comes into effect when the rotary switch for
device configuration is set to the '0' position. If the rotary switch is set to a
different position, the standard settings for the corresponding position will be
adopted.
