Chapter 5 Trial Run and Tuning Procedure
1) When display shows:
Overvoltage:
The main circuit voltage has exceeded its maximum allowable value or input power is
error (Incorrect power input).
Corrective Actions:
Use voltmeter to check whether the main circuit input voltage falls within the
rated input voltage.
Use voltmeter to check whether the input voltage is within the specified limit.
2) When display shows:
Encoder error:
Check if the wiring is correct. Check if the encoder wiring (CN2) of servo motor is loose
or incorrect.
Corrective Actions:
Check if the users perform wiring recommended in the user manual.
Examine the encoder connector and cable.
Inspect whether wire is loose or not.
Check if the encoder is damaged.
3) When display shows:
Emergency stop activated:
Please check if any of digital inputs DI1 ~ DI8 signal is set to "Emergency Stop" (EMGS).
Corrective Actions:
If it does not need to use "Emergency Stop (EMGS)" as input signal, the users only
need to confirm that if all of the digital inputs DI1 ~ DI8 are not set to "Emergency
Stop (EMGS)". (The setting value of parameter P2-10 to P2-17 is not set to 21.)
