IEEE 488.2 Common Commands

The following table lists the IEEE 488.2 Common (*) commands that can be
executed by the Keysight E1458A 96-Channel Digital I/O Module. For more
information on Common commands, refer to ANSI/IEEE Standard 488.2-1987.

These commands apply to many instruments and are not
documented in detail here. See ANSI/IEEE Standard 488.2-1987
for more information.
Description
Returns identification string of the digital I/O module.
Sets all ports to input mode, handshake NONE, and Polarity POS.
Returns: 0 = All tests pass
1 = Read register 00h failed
2 = Read register 02h failed
200+n = Port interrupt test at port n failed.
Sets the Request for OPC flag when all pending operations have been
completed. Also sets the OPC bit in the Standard Event register
Returns a 1 to the output queue when all pending operations are
complete.
Halts execution of commands and queries until the No Operation
Pending message is true.
Clears all Event registers, the Request for OPC flag, and all queues
(except the output queue).
Sets the bits in the Event Status Enable register.
Queries the Event Status Enable register.
Queries and clears contents of the Standard Event Status register.
Sets the Service Request Enable register bits, and corresponding Serial
Poll Status Byte register bits, to generate a service request.
Queries the contents of the Service Request Enable register.
Queries the Status Byte register.
Recalls stored module configuration in the memory location set by n.
Stores the module configuration in the memory location set by n.
Enables execution of macro n.
