Note
The parameters for the serial ports A and B are contained in NEC ESMPRO Manager,
Online BMC Configuration Tool, and EXPRESSSCOPE Engine 3. However, the setting for
serial port A are invalid because this server does not have serial port A.
Express5800/B120f Maintenance Guide
Description
Enables or disables serial Port B.
Specifies the base I/O address for serial port B.
Specifies the interrupt for serial port B.
Enables or disables console redirection for a specified serial port.
Specifying Serial Port B allows direct connection via a terminal
unit such as NEC ESMPRO Manager.
The screen size of the terminal unit must be 80 x 25. The option
items shown below are displayed.
Specifies the terminal type.
Specifies the baud rate.
Specifies the data bit width.
Specifies the parity bits.
Specifies stop bits
Specifies the flow control method.
Specifies whether to continue console redirection after POST
completes.
