Chapter 2 Useful Features
<3> Locate
Turns the disk status lamp ON (blink) or OFF.
Select "Start" for turning it ON (blink) or "Stop" for OFF.
Whether the disk status lamp lights up or blinks by selecting "Start" depends on the server or on the Disk
Expansion Unit.
<4> Place Drive Offline
Set the selected Physical Device to offline, and disconnect it from the Virtual Drive.
This is available when the selected Physical Device is in the online status (displayed as Online).
<5> Place Drive Online
Set the selected Physical Device to online, and install it to the Virtual Drive.
This is available when the selected Physical Device is in the offline status (displayed as Offline).
<6> Make Global HS
Unsupported.
<7> Remove Hot Spare drive
Clear the Hot Spare disk settings of the selected Physical Device. This function is available when the
Physical Device is in the "HotSpare" status.
<8> Drive Erase
Unsupported.
<9> Make JBOD
Unsupported.
<10> Make Unconfigured good
Change the status of the selected Physical Device to "UG".
<11> Prepare for Removal / Undo Removal
Change the Power State of the selected Physical Device.
