Chapter 2 Useful Features
(a) How to create Virtual Drive for RAID1
This chapter describes the RAID1 creation using an example.
1.
Select RAID1 in "Select RAID Level", and press the <Enter> key.
2.
Select "Select Drives", and press the <Enter> key.
3.
Select the Physical Device to be installed to the RAID system, and press the <Enter> key to change
from "Disabled" to "Enabled".
4.
Switch all the Physical Devices to be installed to the RAID system to "Enabled", place a cursor on
"Apply Changes", and press the <Enter> key. The following message is displayed. Press the <Enter>
key.

Tips
The selectable RAID level varies depending on the model of the used RAID
controller and on the number of the selectable Physical Device.
Tips
"Disabled" can be changed to "Enabled" by selecting the Physical Device and
pressing the space key.
To use the SSD, change the "Select Media Type" to "Both" or "SSD".
