6 Remote Operation
The N4960A serial BERT controller can be controlled and queried with
the rear-panel GPIB or USB interface.
The GPIB interface complies with IEEE standard 488.2-1992. To learn

A GPIB interface requires that all devices on a common bus have
different addresses. The address of the N4960A serial BERT 17 and 32
Gb/s is set up using the System Settings menu. The range is 0 to 30.
