Remove the following parts from the electric parts case
[1]:
– Connector holder mounting bolts (6 x 10 mm) [2]
(five)
– Connector holders [3] (five)
– Collars [4] (four)
– Grommets [5] (four)
– Wire harness clip [6]
– Harness band clips [7] (two)
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
• Route the wire harness properly (page 2-3).
TORQUE:
Connector holder mounting bolt:
5.0 N·m (0.51 kgf·m, 3.7 lbf·ft)
POWER TILT RELAY/POWER TILT
RELAY CASE REMOVAL/

INSTALLATION

Disconnect the battery negative (–) cable, then the
positive (+) cable from the battery.
Remove the engine cover.
Remove the bolt (6 x 12 mm) [1], power tilt relay ground
terminal [2] and two wire harness clips [3].
Disconnect the following:
– Power tilt motor 2P connector [1]
– Power tilt relay 1P connector [2]
– HO2S 4P connector [3] (Except XT, XCT, XXT,
XXCT types)
– Power tilt relay 2P connector [4]
