Turn the separator cover [1] and position the fuel tube
inlet joint [2] of the separator cover with the "I" mark [3]
on the suspension so the "I" mark is located on the
range [4] as shown.
Tighten the three separator cover screw/washers (5 x
12 mm) [5] to the specified torque.
TORQUE: 3.4 N·m (0.35 kgf·m, 2.5 lbf·ft)
INSTALLATION
Install the water separator [1] to the bracket [2].
Connect the fuel tubes [3] to the water separator
securely.
Connect the fuel tube D [4] to the fuel drain valve [5]
securely.
Install the water separator/water level sensor 2P
connector [6] to the stay [7].
Connect the 2P connector and clamp it with the harness
clip [8].
Install the L. engine under cover (page 6-5).
Connect the battery positive (+) terminal and negative
(–) terminal.
