Remove the three timing belt tensioner base bolts (10 x
40 mm) [1], bolt (6 x 22 mm) [2], timing belt tensioner
base [3], and O-ring [4].
Remove the dowel pin [5].
Remove the two bolts (8 x 20 mm) [1] and engine
hanger plate [2].
Remove the two bolts (6 x 11 mm) [3] and seal holder
[4].
Remove the O-ring (26.9 x 2.4 mm) [5] from the seal
holder.
Remove the fifteen bolts (6 x 32 mm) [6], two bolts (6 x
37 mm) [7], and two bolts (6 x 55 mm) [8] from the
crankcase [9].
Insert a screwdriver or equivalent tool into the recesses
in the crankcase, and raise the cylinder block slowly to
remove it.
• Do not damage the mating surfaces between the
crankcase cover and the cylinder block during
removal.
Remove the following parts from the cylinder block [10].
– O-ring (25 x 2.4 mm) [11]
– L. water return tube [12]
– R. water return tube [13]
– Four tube clamps D10.5 [14]
– Two dowel pins [15]
