Error code 5 "Initialization error internal bus"
Fault Argument
Error code 6 "Fieldbus specific error"
Fault Argument
* The number of light pulses (n) indicates the position of the I/O module. I/O modules
without data are not counted (e. g. supply modules without diagnostics)
Example: The 13th I/O module is removed.

WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750
PROFINET IO
Fault Description
n*
Error during register
communication during internal
bus initialization.
Fault Description
1
Invalid MAC-ID
2
Initialization error Ethernet
hardware
3
Initialization error TCP/IP stack
4
Network configuration error (no
IP address)
5
Initialization error of an
application protocol
6
Maximum process image size
exceeded
7
IP address of the buscoupler is
repeated several times in the
network
8
Error during process image
generation
The I/O LED starts the error display with the first blinking sequence (approx. 10 Hz).
After the first break, the second blinking sequence starts (approx. 1 Hz). The I/O LED
blinks four times, thus indicating error code 4 (data error internal bus).
After the second break, the third blinking sequence starts. The I/O LED blinks twelve
times. Error argument 12 means that the internal bus is interrupted behind the twelfth
I/O module.

Remedy
Switch off the supply voltage of
the node, replace the n-th bus
coupler with the process data and
switch the power supply back on.
Remedy
Switch off the supply voltage of
the node, replace the buscoupler
and switch on again.
Restart the buscoupler by turning
the power supply off and on again.
If the error remains, replace the
buscoupler.
Restart the buscoupler by turning
the power supply off and on again.
If the error remains, replace the

Check the settings of the BootP
server.
Restart the buscoupler by turning
the power supply off and on again.
Reduce the number of I/O
modules.
Use an IP address that has not
been used in the network.
